In November, Chinese pig iron output totaled around 63.7 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 9.9%. From January to November, the production of pig iron amounted to 707.9 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 2.4%.

Chinese crude steel output was around 77.6 million tons in November, up by 10.8% year-on-year. The output of crude steel totaled around 857.4 million tons in the first 11 months this year, increasing by 6.7% year-on-year.

Besides, in the same period, the output of steel was 94.4 million tons roughly, up by 11.3% year-on-year. The output of steel from January to November totaled around 1.01 billion tons, up by 8.3% year-on-year
