Corrosion resistance and main application environment: 253MA is an alloy obtained by increasing the nitrogen content on the basis of alloy 1.4828 and adding rare earth elements for microalloying. It has good oxidation resistance, high temperature corrosion resistance and high temperature mechanical strength.The use of the most suitable temperature range of 850-1100 ℃, if use in a range from 600 to 850 ℃, due to structural changes, will lead to lower the impact toughness at room temperature.
The chemical composition of 253 ma is balanced, make the steel at 850 ℃ to 1100 ℃ temperature range has the most appropriate comprehensive performance, high resistance to oxidation, the oxidation of skin temperature as high as 1150 ℃;Very high creep resistance and creep fracture strength;In most gas medium has good resistance to high temperature corrosion and resistance to brush corrosion;Higher yield strength and tensile strength at high temperature;Good formability and weldability, and enough machinability.
In addition to the alloying elements chromium and nickel, the 253MA stainless steel also contains a small amount of Rare Earth Metals (REM), significantly improving its antioxidant capacity.Nitrogen was added to improve creep properties and to make the steel complete austenitic.Although chromium and nickel contents are relatively low, this stainless steel has many of the same high temperature properties as highly alloyed steel and nickel-based alloys.
Application: 253MA is widely used in sintering equipment, blast furnace equipment, steel melting, furnace and continuous casting equipment, rolling mill (heating furnace), heat treatment furnace and accessories, mineral equipment and cement production equipment.
